If you're of the "more is better" school, then you'll love this armbinder. It feels like it weighs about ten pounds, with the thick steel rings and heavy, stiff leather straps. It's definitely an overpowering piece of equipment - my partner is a petite woman, and strapping her into this thing was like casting her arms in concrete. Tightened up, it's extremely restrictive for the wearer - she can wiggle a bit, but that's it. Escape is unimaginable. The adjustability is nice - you can take several passes, working each pair of belts a little tighter each time. You'll want to be careful not to injure your partner as you do this. Although the straps are thick and stiff, they wrap nicely around the arms without leaving marks. Overall, this is just a beautiful, intimidating, well-made item.
